By using Sadde.lk ("Sadde", "we", "us") you agree to these terms. Please read them with our privacy policy and community guidelines.
1. What Sadde is
Sadde is an online classifieds platform. We let people publish ads for musical instruments and related items, and let others contact them. We are not a party to any sale or rental. We don't own, inspect, store or deliver the items, and we don't handle payment between buyers and sellers.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to post ads.
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give accurate information, including a phone number you can be reached on.
3. Posting ads
- You may only advertise items you own or are allowed to sell or rent.
- Your ad must be accurate and follow the community guidelines.
- You give us permission to show your ad, its photos and your contact details on Sadde and our partner sites (such as chordslankalk.com), and to resize and watermark your photos.
- Free ads stay up for a limited time and can be renewed. We may review ads before or after they go live.
4. Buying and renting
Check the item and the seller yourself before paying. Follow our buying safely advice. Any agreement is between you and the other person.
5. What we may do
We may edit, reject or remove ads, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms, the law, or put other users at risk. Where we can, we'll tell you why.
6. Paid features
Some features, such as featured ads, may be paid. Their prices and terms will be shown before you pay.
7. Disclaimer: we are not responsible for ads, items or deals
Sadde only provides a place to publish and find ads. Ads are written by users, not by us. We do not own, check, test, value or guarantee any item, and we do not check the identity, honesty or background of sellers, buyers or renters. Even when we review an ad, that only means it looked acceptable to us at the time.
So, to the fullest extent the law allows, Sadde.lk and the people who run it are not responsible for:
- whether an item exists, works, is genuine, legal, safe, or as described;
- whether a seller, buyer or renter is who they say they are, or does what they agreed;
- any payment, deposit, delivery, collection, rental or return between users;
- loss, theft, damage, injury or fraud arising from a deal, a meeting or a message with another user;
- the accuracy of prices, descriptions, photos or contact details in ads;
- the site being unavailable for a time, or ads being lost or removed.
Any dispute about an ad or a deal is between the users involved. We may help where we can, for example by removing an ad or suspending an account, but we are not required to, and we can't recover money or items for you.
8. Your responsibility
You use Sadde at your own risk. You are responsible for your ads, for checking items and people before you pay, and for following the law. If someone makes a claim against Sadde because of your ad, your item or how you used the site, you agree to cover the costs that result, as far as the law allows.
9. Our liability
Sadde is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises of any kind. Where the law does not allow us to exclude liability, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us, if anything, in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law says cannot be limited.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are important we'll tell you on the site or by email. Continuing to use Sadde means you accept the updated terms.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
