Community guidelines

What you can post on Sadde, and how to write an ad buyers trust.

These rules keep Sadde useful and safe. Ads that break them are rejected or removed, and repeat offenders lose their account.

What you can post

Musical instruments, audio and studio equipment, DJ gear, stage lighting, cases, accessories, software and learning material, for sale, for rent, or as a "wanted" ad.

What you can't post

  • Stolen goods, or items you don't own or have permission to sell.
  • Counterfeit or fake-branded instruments sold as genuine.
  • Items that aren't related to music.
  • Services or businesses dressed up as an item.
  • The same item more than once. Edit or renew your existing ad instead.

Writing a good ad

  • Use your own photos of the actual item. Stock photos and photos from other ads are not allowed.
  • Be honest about the condition, including scratches, repairs and anything that doesn't work.
  • Give a real price in rupees. "Rs 1" or fake prices to appear first are removed.
  • Put the brand and model in the title, e.g. "Yamaha PSR-E473 with stand".
  • One item per ad, unless you're selling a bundle at one price.

Respect

Be polite to buyers and sellers. Harassment, threats, discrimination and spam are not tolerated, on Sadde or when you contact someone from an ad.
